    An alternative to the L key is the F key. Which I personally prefer because the picture fills the screen. But thanks for G and D keys short cuts. I didnt know about them.

    Absolutely incredible! You're a great photographer and teacher! The location 🔥 ❤😢. I was wondering though, how many if these pictures do you end up submitting to the couple?

      Thank you for the kind words. I happy to hear that you enjoyed it. The amount depends on the package that the couple choose but on average about a 100.

    Thanks so much! I just shot my first wedding as an extra shooter. I shot it in manual, because I am normally a wildlife/nature photographer and I worked my tail off. It didn't dawn on me to use aperture priority until I got home. I also found out that f/4 is not good enough for that situation. I also learned that my 7D ii is not good enough in low light for that and I am looking to acquire a 5D iv and the Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 G2 next week. Thanks so much for your thoughts. I'm sure that you have gone mirrorless by now. The lady that I was shooting with was shooting an R6 with the 24-70 f/2 and that was just a beautiful image.

      My pleasure and it's great to learn. I shoot with R6 now yes and it's the best camera I have ever used. I highly recommend it. All the best.

      Hi Abraham, not sure I understand your question?

    • @abrahamdupreez3368
      @abrahamdupreez3368 7 месяцев назад

      Hi Kobus, thanks for your very useful content, I love it! I'm also from Gqeberha, S.A. 🇿🇦 Kobus when shooting RAW all info is captured untouched by the sensor. Most in-camera settings are predominantly baked into the Jpeg file, not RAW. Does that mean even if I add that filter to my lens, the sensor will still capture the cinematic look on the RAW Files? I ask, because I only shoot RAW. Weereens baie dankie vir jou baie leersame videos. Hope I make sense in my question. 😊

    • @KobusTollig1
      @KobusTollig1 7 месяцев назад

      @@abrahamdupreez3368 Glad you enjoy the content and thank you for the support. The filter is attached to your lens so it's what the camera see. So yes it will show in Raw. I only shoot Raw. Perhaps have a look at the full video here ruclips.net/video/BjtMuTfM6j8/видео.html

    The beauty of digital is that you have instant test shots. Beats metering twice and the calculating how many stops of flash you need for back lit subjects.

    thank you for explaning the mm when there is a bounce off the ceiling. However, wouldn't you get softer light when shooting 24 mm as the light is more spread out vs 100mm and above where it would be direct?

    • @KobusTollig1
      @KobusTollig1 8 месяцев назад

      My pleasure and happy that it helps. Remember when using the a wall or ceiling to bounce light, the ceiling or wall becomes the light source. Not the flash. And because of the size of the light source the light is soft. When using direct flash the light source is the flash. The flash head is small and therefore no matter what the zoom the light will remain hard. Hope it makes sense.
